On the right-side, you can see a panel called “Format” where the following post formats are listed.
Standard Post
This is the default post format. You can enter the text to your post via the content box and add images to it using the tools.

Gallery Post
The Gallery post format enables you to add a slideshow (preferably to the top of your post). To add a gallery to your post,
- Select “Gallery” post format from within the “Format” box
- Click on “Add Media” button that is located just above the Content box.
- Select “Create Gallery” option.
- Select the desired images from your WordPress Media Library.
- Click “Create a new gallery” button.
- Reorder the images, if required and click on “Insert gallery” button.

Video Post
The Video post format allows you to display a video in your post. You can share videos from nearly all video hosting sites, such as Vimeo or Youtube.
- Select “Video” post format from within the “Format” box
- Click on “Add Media” button that is located just above the Content box.
- Select “Insert from URL” option.
- Enter the URL of the video
- Click “Insert into post” button.

Audio Post
The Audio post format allows you to display a music or audio track in your post.
- Select “Audio” post format from within the “Format” box
- Click on “Add Media” button and insert the track’s URL like you do in a video post.
